Everything is new under the hood, so returning users start fresh. Here's the whole process.
Create a fresh account
Head to app.streamtimer.com and sign up. Old accounts don't carry over, so everyone starts new. It takes a few seconds.
Recreate your timers
Old timers weren't migrated. Rebuild the ones you still use in the new editor. It's faster and simpler than before.
Swap the URL in OBS
Each new timer has its own public URL. Open your OBS (or vMix / Wirecast) browser source and replace the old streamtimer.com timer link with the new one.
What's no longer part of StreamTimer
A few older features didn't come along. So there's no confusion:
Pre-built themes
The old theme presets are gone. You still control colors, fonts, backgrounds, and layout per timer. There just isn't a preset gallery.
The synced studio / crew clock
The separate studio/crew clock has been discontinued.
The offline .zip download
There's no downloadable offline package anymore. StreamTimer runs from the web at app.streamtimer.com.
Quick questions
No. This is a fresh start. Old accounts and timers don't transfer. Create a new account and rebuild the timers you need.
They won't break your layout. Any old streamtimer.com timer URL now lands on a simple "this timer has moved" page pointing to the new app. Swap in your new timer URL when you can.
Three ways: with your Google account, with a one-time code sent to your email, or with an email and password. Pick whichever you prefer.
